1935/2004/EC standard test

The mandatory label is introduced in 1935/2004/EC. Materials and appliances that have direct or indirect contact with food should follow the instructions below:

Or indicate the words “contact with food”;

Or according to the instructions for use of the appliance, such as: coffee machine, electric kettle, etc.;

Or according to the symbol specified in 1935/2004/EC;

1935/2004/EC is a framework regulation, and the EU member states have: Austria, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Greece, Portugal, Denmark, Ireland, Spain, Finland, Italy, Sweden, France, Luxembourg, the United Kingdom, Cyprus, Lithuania, 27 countries in the Czech Republic, Malta, Estonia, Poland, Hungary, Slovenia, Latvia, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Romania, including Germany, France, the United Kingdom, Italy have their own national regulations, in addition to comply with the EU Food Directive Regulation (EC) No1935 In addition to the requirements of /2004, it is also required to comply with local regulations of Germany (LFGB), France (DGCCRF), UK (UK SI 898: 2005), and Italy (Italian Decree of the Ministry of Health (DM or DMH).
