Application materials for Ghana COC certification

1. Provide the product name and HS code in both Chinese and English, and LCS instant check for free to check whether your product is under control;

Provide product quality documents such as: product test report + CNAS certificate of test institution (the third-party laboratory issuing the report must pass CNAS certification of China national accreditation service for conformity assessment) or ISO9001 manufacturer quality management system certification and internal test report;If none, please consult ITS SGS authorized laboratory (lixun testing) for test.5. Copies of valid business licenses of the company, exporter and manufacturer; 

6. Proforma/commercial invoice;(invoice must show FOB amount)

7. IDF copy (this document needs to be processed locally by the importer)

8. Packing list;We will review the documents and inform you of the main inspection requirements upon receipt of your information.After the goods are ready, our company will send inspectors to inspect the goods.After all qualified, check the certificate with the final invoice. 

Matters needing attention for Ghana CoC certification

Application for Ghana VOC certification is similar to Kenya PVOC certification, but there are still some differences. For example, there are 9 categories of controlled products in Kenya, while there are 14 categories in Ghana, so there are some differences.Not exactly.Also note the following:

1. The commercial voltage of Ghana is 220V, 5Hz, while that of Saudi Arabia is 220V, 60Hz. If you want to apply for Ghana's VOC certification by using Saudi Arabia's test report, you need to do difference test.Otherwise it is not completely acceptable.

Ghana CoC certification cycle

1. Provide sample test: (the required materials: test sample, test application form and product label, for series application, each model product sample or each model sample test photo should be provided), the test time is 7-10 working days. 

2. After the completion of the test, arrange the inspection application: (submit the product test report, packing list, proforma invoice and CoC application form), and the inspection arrangement is usually about 5 days after the review. 

3. Ghanaian COC certificate issued within 3-5 days after passing the inspection is mainly for visual inspection to check whether the packaging and labels of the products conform to ghanaian standards.
